Who's Better, 5 Star Tuning or UpFord from Brazel RV Performance

Anyone use both and what was the results, I have 5 Star now on my 08 Bounder was thinking of ordering the UpFord tune from Brazels and see what tune performs the best..

Was wondering if someone else has done the same..

5 Star or UpFord tune, who's the winner ??

I would suggest giving Brazel's a call. They are pretty straight up on their products with no BS involved. I have had them work on my F-53 suspension and manifolds along with ordering parts from them that I have installed. They are a good operation. I have found that their products do what they say. I am pleased that they are only a few miles from our house.

I have not done any extra tune on our V-10, so no help with that.

Save your money and enjoy your camping trip. Nothing is free. More HP requires more energy (fuel) input. Basic physics.

Any extra HP or torque, beyond stock, is only realised with the gas pedal to the floor.

If you find that you need to drive with the engine at near full throttle, and need more power, then a " Tune " may help.

Power gains aside, from personal experience, I can say that 5 star does help with the shift points of the tranny. For me, that in of itself was worth the purchase.

Yep, shift points are much better with 5star. I really don't need more power or torque.

That ONLY applies when you're starting with 100% efficiency and ending with 100% efficiency. In an internal combustion engine, you can ABSOLUTELY gain power and increase fuel mileage at the same time. A 500hp engine that's more efficient than a 300hp engine can get the exact same mileage.

That statement tells us gearheads you know nothing about performance modifications.

Installed the Ford UpTune on my 2020 Canyon Star! Noticeable increase in performance, better acceleration, less downshifting in hilly country, and engine actually seemed quieter, especially at lower speeds, like 45-50 MPH.
I would highly recommend Brazel's/Ultra RV!
