Winnebago 35G

We are hoping to find someone with a Winnebago Sightseer 35G in South Carolina, Georgia or North Carolina. We are interested in purchasing one in Florida that we found online and would like to be able to see one before we make our decision. Anyone with a Sightseer 35G from 2013-2016 would be great. We have tried dealers in the area and have not been able to find a 35G.
Thanks,
Tony

I hope you weren't hoping on the one that Lazydays, Seffner had in stock. It sold. It's one of our potential options as well.

Ford has changed it's chassis in 2016.

I traded a 2006 Sightseer 29R for a 2016 Sightseer 33C. My 2016 Ford chassis is much easier to drive than my 2006 chassis. White knuckle driving has been nearly eliminated.

I didn't know that my new MH would be on a 2016 Ford chassis when I placed my order with Winnebago. I'm very happy that I got the new upgraded Ford chassis. I would pick a 2016 chassis over a 2015 or earlier chassis.

Safe travels. JD

Did the chassis itself change in addition to adding the 6 speed?

I believe that the six speed transmission is the major change along with engine/transmission programming. Also engine info display has been updated.

There are other chassis changes.

I ordered a Roadmaster sway bar to be installed by my dealership when the coach we ordered arrived. Roadmaster sent a 2015 sway bar and it wouldn't fit the 2016 chassis. My dealership is located near the Roadmaster Headquarters so Roadmaster sent a crew to measure the new 2016 chassis. Roadmaster brought with them a Tiffin sway bar. They installed theTiffin sway bar on our coach.

I don't know when the interval between oil changes was updated. My 2016 manual has 6,000 miles between oil changes when not towing and 4,500 miles between oil changes when towing.

We made a coast trip and only changed our oil once. With a 3K interval on our previous coach and a similar trip we had to change oil twice. It doesn't sound like much but finding a place that is willing to change oil in a motor home can be changeling.

An easy way to tell a six speed chassis from a five speed is to look at the shif lever display.

If P RND 421 it's a six speed chassis.

If P RND 321 it's a five speed chassis.

Safe travels. JD.
