IF there is a slideout directly behind the driver's seat, the seat must be moved forward before extending or retracting the slideout. Oftentimes, if someone is in a hurry or doesn't know, they forget to move the seat first and the slide hits the seat....resulting is a seat that is loose or even 'bent'.
Sometimes a passenger seat needs to have the backrest tilted 'forward'...before turning the seat around to face the living area of the coach.
People just try to force the seat to turn, and cause damage.
Sometimes it takes a bit of careful practice.
I have seen many damaged, loose, and wobbly front seats quite often at RV shows, or on dealer's lots.

That does make sense, the passenger side seat didn't have a slide on that side though and it was just as bad.
