Hi All,I am trying to find the ride height for a 2002---Neptune. The book says one thing.A insert in the book says another thing, but it says for a Cayman(does not show year)and it is not set close to ether one.She drives OK, but she is high in front.
Book set 9 1/2 front--11-1/2 rear
Insert set---6 1/2 front---8 in rear
Unit now set at--8 1/8 front--8 5/8 rear
The insert also states that the manuat is incorrect---,but it says Cayman
Thanks

There are a couple of threads on here and in the Monaco owners on ride height for various years, mostly newer ones, from 2004 and up. The best place to get that info may be Monaco Tech directly, or someone that has a correct manual. I have a 2001 Ambassador and it is different than yours, it is the Neway. There is a different suspension in 2002-04/05 and then a different one for 05 and up, the way I understand it. My manual only gives the dimension for a 34 and 36, not a 38 like mine, so I am not sure it is accurate either. I am going to contact Monacco directly to inquire about mine, and see if the answer is the same as the book. Be sure and take a minute and read the thread on Trailing Arms cracked on Roadmaster, as it affects your year.

Good luck and happy trails Bert

Me again.Just got e-mail from HR TECH,.You must have vin # for 2001-2003 as a lot of them changed in mid year.My setting was 6 1/2 front---8 1/2 rear, same as 2003.When they use up their frames they change to newer ones ,so the need for vin#
Happy Kamping (Bill)

Bill......You may notice a big difference in ride when you set the ride height correctly. My RR8R was an inch too high in the front and one inch to low in the rear. It handled and drove much better after I adjusted it.
