My coach has Goodyear 275/70r/22.5 tires, I would like to upgrade these to 275/80r22.5 which are two inches taller. When I dump the are and check for clearance it look very tight between the front bags and also the slide out rail.
Does anyone have experience with upgrading to larger size tires on a RR8 chassis,

No experience with RV's. I would think you would have clearance problems and your speedometer would have to be re calibrated.
I'm curious as to why you would want to do this as these tires seem to last a very long time, at least mileage wise.

I went from 255/70 R 22.5 H to 275/70 R22.5 H tires on our 1997 Beaver Patriot and ended up repositioning the front axle per instructions faxed to me by Beaver/Magnum Chassis.

Olin Mott Tires in Tampa test mounted the 275/70 tires and let check for clerance before the actual purchase of the tires. Checking the front wheel/tire clerance by turning lock to lock is important.
