OK, new problem popped up this morning... Working fine when we parked overnight last night, then this morning when I turned the dash heat it isn't working ( or the blower isn't). Fuse is good, switched with another just in case..
Strange thing - when I turn the fan on, the outside temp and compass readout goes blank.
Any ideas??

Can u get at the fan easy? Is it in front of the passenger seat under dash? I would think the fan motor bearing might have gone so when you flick the switch it cant turn because it's binding??? Just an idea, usually easy to check. 6or 8 screws usually to get it off then see if you have power going to the motor. Just get a test light to check it. let us know!

TGMarrs,
Below is a link to Monaco's wiring diagrams for a 2003 Dynasty. Page 9 is the "AC System" which shows the fan motor and wiring. Hope this helps you out.

"when I switched on the fan the outside temp and compass readings go blank"
That makes it fairly easy.. Trace the ground connection for the Temp/Compass I'd be willing to bet they share a srew with the fan motor.. and it's loose. or needs adjustmnt (Cleaning and retightening)
The other option is if they all share the same fuse (pull it to check) in which case the problem could be on the "HOT" side of the switch.

Ditto on the "ground". Doubt seriously that all those systems have the same hot wire and fuse.
Did the fuse you checked have 12 volts?

I never worked on the dash fan on monaco. However on the Tiffin products, the dash fan is mounted to a plastic heater shroud. They run a separate wire to the heater motor for the ground. It was common for this wire to get loose and lose the ground. I always installed a star washer under the screw to keep that from happening again.
