Replace Wheel Studs for Aluminum Wheels

Just curious if anyone with a RRSR chassis has changed out the front wheel studs to install aluminum wheels?
I have a 2008 HR Vacationer XL on a RRSR chassis with an ISB 340. I currently gave steel wheels and was wanting to put aluminum wheels on, but the front wheel studs are not long enough. The rears would handle steel inner duals and aluminum out dual.
I have checked with Monaco and the axle mfg with no help. I was curious if anyone has done this.
I have also contacted McKay truck and RV services in Albany Oregon, but as yet no answer.
Thank you in advance fir your assistance and advice.

If you are able to replace the studs yourself, remove one and go to your best auto supply store around. if you have an old stud you can use a caliper (for measuring not braking) and take the measurements of the old and find a suitable replacement. Keep in mind that the knurled part of the stud may be under-sized, from already being installed, but a stud of equal or greater by .01" should be able to replace the originals. just match the thread and add the length needed., do pay attention to shoulder of the stud also.

good luck, Spence

Your best source is a HD truck dealer or HD truck parts store. These are commen hardware items in the truck industry. Your normal auto pats store will not normally have.
