Roadmaster Service - Los Angeles

Can anyone recommend a Roadmaster shop, or a shop that can handle a rebuild on Roadmaster u-joints, in the Los Angeles, California or Ventura areas?

Our coach had to be towed several times recently, and when the u-joints were removed it was discovered that they were basically on the verge of breaking and need to be rebuilt.

Thanks!

If it is the U-joints in the drive line you are referring to, they are replaceable, not re-buildable. Any Truck shop can change them out for you.

You should be aware that your u joints need to be lubed every 5 or 6000 miles. Any decent HD truck shop can replace your u joints. Maybe Freightliner if you cannot find an independent shop.

To close out this thread, United Truck Centers installed new u-joints. Once on the coach, it functioned perfectly. Assuming we can keep this coach running, we will keep in mind the maintenance schedule for lubing the u-joints.
