Sam60.

In the mid 1980s Chrysler opened their Roadmaster division and designed a chassis for a commercial coach that they planned to build. They changed their plan and sold off the division including the chassis design to Monaco. Monaco started building that chassis for their motorhomes. This chassis design later became known as the S Series semi monocoque and was the chassis used on the Dynasty and above coaches up until the bankruptcy in '09.

This chassis always used welded steel framing in the main coach sidewalls and roof. This chassis was later modified and built with aluminum framing that was bolted instead of welded. The main frame rails were beefed up and that became the RR8 and RR10 in both S and R configurations.

So your coach is built on the Chrysler designed S Series chassis.

I hope that I have the correct thread to ask this question. We just purchased a 2007 HR Septer, on the RR10S chassis. I cannot get the tag to lift. I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Any ideas on who currently can work on the chassis, and more importantly any ideas on why the tag will not lift. I checked the fuse in the left front compartment that says tag, and it was good. Is there any other control fuse or c/b that I need to check?

Lots of good info here, thanks! I have a 2005 Beaver, 40' w/tag axle. Window sticker (MSRP sticker) says 'Magnum' chassis. Side radiator, 10 air bag. Anyone know the difference between RR10 and Magnum?
