Serpentine belt replacement

I am replacing the serpentine belt on my 07 Holiday Rambler and don't know how to get the belt off the idler pulley. Does it come off the back? There doesn't appear to be enough room. It has a Cummins 330 with air

There should be a 'square' hole for a 1/2" ratchet wrench to fit into, so that you can relieve the tension on the pulley. It is a tight fit but it can be done. On our last MH, 2003 Endeavor, I also need to remove the cage that protected the fan. The last one I replaced was in a 'rest area' in central Oregon.

Wow what a coincidence...I had to replace mine in a rest area on I-95 just north of Washington,DC. I was lucky the belt broke just before the entrance to the rest area.
