I lubed my chassis today and only found 2 lube zerks on each side of my rear slack adjusters and the manual says there are 3 per side. Is this a misprint? I could only find 2 per side.

hardy1000, 2 my recolection, there is at least 1 fitting that directs grease to the worm gear housing. If there are 2, I expect that you got it covered. Just can't figure where they would put in a 3rd.

Hardy,
I lubed my chassis a couple weeks ago for the first time doing it myself and discovered the same thing. I was concerned enough that I crawled under there a second time just to recheck.

I have found only 2 zerk fittings on the rear slack adjusters.

By the way I will recommend a Yahoo Group that may be of interest to you.

ramblin_pushers : For Holiday Rambler Diesel Pusher Owners

The Ramblin Pushers group is the site used by the Special Interest Chapter 419 of the HR RV Owners Club. You do not need to be a member of either the club or the chapter to register and get involved in the conversation. The membership is about 800 strong and is dedicated to the maintenance from the chassis up of HR diesel pushers. We have a week long Maintenance Session annually in
GoshenIN each spring. You need not be a member of the club or chapter to attend that either.
