Okay, trailing arm crack has been on top for weeks. Don't tell me that is the only thing that has happened in the last month.
ON my 2004 Endeavor the D**n beeper keeps going off. If I stop placing the gear in 'N' and hit the parking brake and then begin going again, my beeper will go off. It will go for 2 or 3 miles and then stop. I took it in about 8 months ago and they said a hanged the sensor for the jacks. They repl it.aced All was find for several weeks. It is back. My jacks are up. This happens when I stop for lunch at a rest stop. I shut down the engine and 20 minutes later I leave and the thing beeps for the next several miles for no reason. Air pressue is up in the 110-120 range. I am ready to disable the loud beeper but am not sure if it goes off for more serious things. Thoughts?: sad:

Check the oil level in your leveler jack oil reservoir. (Assuming the jacks are hydraulic) Because temperature affects the volume of the oil, if the level is close to what sets off the beeper, the temperature of the oil could cause the error condition to come and go... (You could have a slow leak in the container) [There is a thread somewhere here about that and how to fix...]

In my coach there are three sensors that are diode isolated together that cause the beeper to beep. If you measure each wire ahead of the diodes while the beeper is beeping you will know where the error condition is originating and be better able to diagnose and fix.

Regards,

Don

WeBeGone2.......I don't think it's your jack's beeper. Mine has been doing the same thing along with several others. I believe the problem is in the parking brake switch. On a couple of occasions when it happened, I stopped the coach, pulled the parking brake and released it with a little extra force. It stopped beeping. Another poster said he replaced the switch and it stopped doing it.

I heavily sprayed the shaft in the on and off position with electrical cleaner. On the next trip the alarm ran longer than ever and than stopped. It hasn't done it since. My next project will be to remove the side panel and see if I can spray the switch from the underside.

I've also started covering all the switches on the console to the left of the driver when the coach isn't being used. A couple fo my leveling rockers went bad from dirt. I keep a clean coach, but the horizontal positioning of those switches collects dirt.

I think it was my parking brake. I use a little more force on it to release it and no beeper. I also checked the fliud tank and found it OVER filled. Removed filler and it flowed out. Quickly relaced cap and drove on over the horizon and it has not happened again in over 2 K miles... go figure...
