Windsor Air Leak

I have a 1995 monaco windsor .With the ignition on I have a air leak,It's just ahead of the front axle has a red air line going to (i think it's a solenoid valve) and three ports out, two of the ports have push on black hose that go to a tee and then go up to the dash? the other port has nothing on it.When the Ignition Is on air Is coming out of this port Is this normal?I tried plugging this port and blew the the one of the hoses off the push on ports. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks

Are you sure its not a vacuum pump used for the heater controls.

Air lines don't typically use simple push on fittings and rubber hose.

I am interested in this.

On our 1998 Windsor, I had an air leak. Near the middle of the dash on the outside (up and over the generator), there is a box, about the size of a residential single-gang outlet box. It has an air line with a screw-in fitting, three vacuum line fittings, and an open fitting. One of the vacuum line fittings was loose and made a hissing sound.

I assume it is for the dash climate controls. I also assume it is a motor of sorts - it takes the air pressure from the brake system, converts it to vacuum, and has a pressure switch to regulate the level of vacuum.

In my case, I removed the protective cover, shoved the loose hose back on, and currently have it held on with wire ties. No hiss, and everything seems to work OK.

I too am interested in knowing more.

The red air line Is a screwed compression fitting I'm assuming It has system air pressure up to 120psi .The other side has push on fittings looks like 5/32 vacuum hose but Is not under vacuum.
