Escapees Roadside Assistance comments, please

We are still researching for the right Roadside Assistance organization. Escapees offers a Roadside Assistance program for $99.00 a year and appears an improvement over the others due to NOT having a limit on the number of miles you can be towed or the number of claims you can have in a year. This really sets them apart from AAA, etc.

Has anyone had experience with their program? Response, Reliability, etc?

We are not necessarily interested in RV park discounts as we use our National Park Senior "America the Beautiful" Pass for some discounts; preferring state and national parks or boondocking.

I don't know anything about the Escapees plan, but if you're a member of FMCA, you might also want to take a look at their plan for $69.00 per year.

Yes, thank you. FMCA is $50.00 to join plus the $69.00 per year for Roadside Assistance. I am just unclear on what kind of experiences other RV'ers have had with these different organizations.

In the past two years, breakdowns of our signature coach have twice required heavy duty tows of about 25 miles each. These were covered by our Good Sam coverage. In addition, we had a 24v jumpstart covered. All were at no additional cost to us.

Howdy!

Have you asked this question on the Escapees forum? I would like to know more about how their new ERS service is working out also. I asked questions when it was first introduced but got conflicting information. We renewed with Coach Net even though it’s more expensive because they have provided us with good service.
