Which club would you join?

If you were new to RV, which club would you join(Good Sam, Etc) that would benefit you the most now, and in the future, and offer you the most for your dollar in discounts and valuable information.

Thanks,
Ron

Good Sam - Camping World and CG discounts.

Passport America - use it a couple three times a year and it's paid for itself.

And we are Thousand Trails zone members. TT is good if the facilities and locations are such that you will use them and do use them.

If you are of age, get an America the Beautiful pass for discounts at many government campgrounds.

If you have a motorhome...

FMCA (Family Motor Coach Association) is the best.

Agreed, if you own a motorhome.

I'm curious as to what makes FMCA the best. I get considerable value from Passport America with 50% discounts. What does FMCA provide that makes it better? Perhaps I need to join?

X2 on all of these.

BTW, 62 is the minimum age for the National Parks lifetime Senior Pass. For the time being it is still $10 ($20 online), but it's going up to at least $80. I gather that will be in 2018, although the bill that makes the change was passed by Congress and signed by the president late last month. If you plan on visiting our National Parks, it's a bargain at ANY price.

I don't know about a club for saving money but I suggest you look into an independent RV club in your area like we have in Flagler County, Fl. We're 25 rigs that schedule a trip every month. I was once tied to a Good Sam chapter but found it too regimented and let's face it, Good Sam is a business to make money from us RV'ers. We RV to have fun our way.
