Drag Racer/ RV-ER

JRACERX..... I used to race with Butch @ ANRA love that guy and the racers. It's not the same since moving to Oregon! I found a Great track Woodburn Or. I'm there now waiting on a rain delay ( go figure rain in Oregon ) If you talk to mike Sr. Tell him Alan Ross said hi! Sorry to hear about your car

Wow. I love drag racing, to include the nostalgia classes. I love the stories about "Wild Willie" Borsch and the Marcellus and Borsch "Winged Express".

But even more than that, I love NHRA Stock Eliminator. I have never raced in Stock Eliminator, but I am so impressed with the beauty and grace of the class. And a bunch of wonderful people too. At national events, I'm always heading the opposite direction as the crowd- when the fuel cars come to the line, I'm headed for the restrooms, and when the Stockers are on deck, I'm back in the stands.

I campaigned an 11-second NHRA Pro ET Mazda rotary door car (stick-shift and N/A) in D-6 for about 10 years, and actually made a fair amount of money with it. It was sort of a C/MC class car, but I didn't start racing it until after NHRA killed Modified Eliminator.

Last Season

How did everyone fair last season? We're hoping everyone is just doing regular winter maintenance. I'm starting a new job 12/17 and not sure how that will effect our debut of the new hot rod. Hopefully things will be sorted out by next April, and we will be doing Shake Down & Licensing Passes!
And have a
VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Any California Drag Racers Here?

Old Super Stock racer here. Raced O.C, Fremont, Sacramento, Burns, SIR, Irwindale, Portland, Phoenix. (Firebird), Madras, Brainard, St Louis, Bowling Green, and Indianapolis as we followed the points. Two National Event titles (NHRA Wally’s) and national class record Holder (SSIA) for several years.
Great times and yea, expensive.
