I really enjoy passionately a fine hand rolled cigar. It still amazes me how they get the flavors they do and how they changed as the cigars is smoked. No need to inhale, the flavor is in the palate. Nothing is more relaxing than tasting a premium cigar and watching the world go by.

I too used to enjoy a great tasting (to me) cigar. I tried many brands, both high and low priced, but found a cheap (real cheap) brand that I liked.
Unfortunately, health issues have forced me to give up cigars.
However, I'm sure I'll still smoke one on rare occasions.

Yep, a real treat. I reluctantly limit my cigars to just a few a year for general health reasons but when I do smoke it's usually with my son, son-in-law, or good friends. That makes it even more enjoyable.

Every Tuesday evening at our Florida RV park is "Cigar Night"...it draws a nice group of people, male and female, who enjoy their cigars and the friendship that goes along with it. I joined in several times just for the fellowship, but next year plan to partake as a puffer

Smoke one the following every saturday during the manly barbecue:
Punch
- Rare Corojo
- Gran Puro
- Magnum
- Chateau L
Montesino
Fuente
- Opus X (Hard as hell to get)
Trinidad
Gurkha/Shirpha
No clue on what the particular style of the cigar is called, just the brand.

I believe the best Cigar that I have ever smoked is a " Cuban" Arturo Fuente Hemingway Short Story.
The only thing I have at the moment is an empty wooden box that holds some short computer cables.

I have smoked several authentic Cohiba's, but I wasn't overly impressed.
As we see from the posts above, one cigar does not suit all smokers.

I have plenty of commercial sources for all kinds of cigars and buy most of mine from an auction for about 65% off msrp. I was thinking more along the lines if you ran into someone that might be having to quit or was gifted some good smokes. One of my favorite sites is BOTL. (Brothers of the leaf).

I am an avid Cigar smoker, good to see I am not alone. it sure feels lonely sometime. It is one of the lost pleasures of another era. I respect all of those who cited health reasons but if you are no inhaling the health riska are very small. I smoke a wide range of choices. My current favorite is the Rocky Patel "Decade". I try many different smokes and find it extremely relaxing and enjoyable when camping, heck every day too.
This is my main source

flagypsy, I like RP also. I am more fond of the maduro leaf but variety is the spice of life. Hoping to one day try some Opus X sticks.
