I think I should just call my frost pictures, Florida Frost

I became confused when I looked up the different kinds of frost Guide to Frost

So I'll just stick with Florida Frost.

BTW I'll sure be glad when it's all gone

Ron

Hi Everyone,

Let's put a little life back in this thread. If you have nothing better to do would you click on the link down in my sig and do a quick view of our little photo website.

The host gave us some new upgrades and I have changed it around some. Let me know what you think good or bad.

We are about 3 or 4 weeks from our next trip we are not sure where we are going but we are headed somewhere. I promise photos along the way.

Thanks,

Bill & Melissa

My own take on the slot canyons:

Might be old fashioned but there's nothing wrong with it. Look at the equipment Ansel Adams used, could be called junk compared to the technological marvels we have today. Reality is I couldn't carry Ansels film bag.

From what I'm seeing I couldn't carry yours either, fine work, the depth and focus are so spot on it's hard to believe.

Ceratto's Grotto,
These are beautiful. I love the richness of the colored ones, but I like the values in the black and white. Thanks for sharing.

Saw plenty of these while camping this Easter weekend

It's amazing how they always manage to come out during Easter

Ron,
I've never seen anything at all like that. Where were you camping?

Lorraine,

We were camping at my Astronomy Club's viewing site in Dade City Florida, about 45 miles east of Tampa

I heard about them about 4 years ago here PINE TREE CROSSES

I think the story came out of Texas

skynight,

I have never been to that star party, we have several of our club members that belong to the Chiefland Group. I belong to the SPAC, St Petersburg Astronomy Club. http://www.stpeteastronomyclub.org/

The field we use for our viewing is in a Pasco County Park located in Dade City. We camp there quite frequently especially during a Holiday weekend when we have a few extra days.

Up until 2005 I went to Chiefland a couple of times a year. Then life really got in the way.

I'm hoping to make the Fall party. It's a great observing site with great folks.

Does your club allow weekend visitors?
