I'm still using my 1979 Kmart knockoff of a Weber full size grill. It has never been inside.
I've had several cheap portable grills used in RV. The best is a Smokey Joe. Uses very little charcoal, packs easily in baggage area, cooks fast, cleans up easily. Smokes great. Will last many years. Where, Wally World $25

After experiencing the Weber portable performance we purchased a full size for our deck and are just as satisfied with it.

Safe travels and THE JOY IS IN THE RIDE
I have been a Weber owner at my home for years. I sear/brown my foods, then turn 3 burners off and cook low and slow. A few years ago I purchased a WeberQ200 just before they changed the style of the legs. Takes 2 people to open up the cart if Q is attached...which is also very difficult to do. I am a caterer so I cook for a living including a trailered indirect cooker that can cook over 200-1/4's chicken. I guess I have been cooking indirect heat for so long it is very difficult to master this one burner grill. I burn pork, chicken and fish!! AM I MISSING SOMETHING HERE? For the last year or so i have reverted back to my 2 burner Camp Chef with the grill box addition as I feel comfy and confident with it. Even LOW seems HOT with the Weber Q. Any help would be appreciated. Steve
