This has been talked about a lot....We use a Weber Q200...Big cooking surface and hasn't given us any problems in 4 years....The Weber at the S & B's is about 11 years old and it works perfectly. Good Brand.

I have a Traeger Junior (with tailgate kit) wood pellet grill/smoker. It is a little bigger than most grills, but it makes great smoked ribs - which I will be doing today. It also works great on hot-dogs, burgers, steaks, etc.

We love our weber q also. Many sizes to fit you compartments. I just love the ease of use and it cooks good.

Do you buy the grills at an RV store or anywhere else?

Do you hook it up to your propane on your MH or have a separate tank?

We ordered our Weber online via Amazon and had it delivered to our site.
I have a Stay a While tee with a hose to connect the grill (and an external tank so I don't have to move the motor home to get propane) so it will be connected to whichever one I am using at the time.

The best BBQ is the one in the next campsite. No clean up, no muss or fuss.

We use a Holland Companion, and consider it to be perfect. Holland Grills are gas grills.I have two of the larger Holland grills at home, and never considered anything other than Holland when looking for a portable unit. Just like the larger units, the Companion has a steel plate just above the fire ring to distribute the heat and to protect from burning your meal. When using a Holland grill, you cook by time and temp... no standing over a hot grill. Simple, easy to use, consistent results and ease of cleaning.... perfect ( at least for me... :-) ).. Whatever you choose.... use it and enjoy.

BFlinn181,

I'll go you one better. I sit at a table, somebody brings me 6 samples each of chicken, ribs, pork shoulder and brisket. I tell them whether its good or not, then go for ice cream on the way back to the campground.

I've been using a Weber Q200 for a few years now with no problems. It's easy to clean and I use a 20# bottle rather the those small cartridges. You will rarely find Webers selling at different prices. I got mine at Home Depot with the stand. The stand takes up room but it allows me to set up the grill away from the table.

Liberty Smokers are great. Put the meat on and go play.

I'm a pit master from NC, and I'd have to ask a few questions first. What do you cook, most of the time on a BBQ grill? What kind of space do you have to store/carry any BBQ grill? Are you a gas or charcoal type cook?

I am a die hard charcoal person. Not that gas is bad, I just don't use it. I carry a 22" Weber kettle, dissembled in one of my compartments.
