I recently found out about this game and actually started playing mainly because we have started RV'ing.
Think of it as a cross between geocaching and capture the flag. There's a lot to the game, but the basic idea is that there are "portals" all over the world (yes, this game is global) that the two teams try to capture and hold. The two teams are the Enlightened (Green - my team
) and the Resistance (Blue - losers
). There's a big back-story behind that, but I'll not get into that.
Where this is good for RV'ers is that the portals are located at local points of interest. The most common locations are historical markers/monuments, works of art, churches, and post offices. So, as you're cruising around, your copilot can keep an eye out for local portals that can be a point of interest that you may want to stop at. Or after you get to camp, you can explore the area with the app.
