I'm an old musician(electric bass, guitar, singer, dobro)and would like to know if there is a place in the forums where old pickers could get together and visit.

Hi Larry - Im an old 60-70s player here myself. You might try the Hobby category and see what you can stir up. Who knows - if you come to the '10 IRV National Rally, you might even stir up something real there !

I played acoustic bass in Jr. H.S. and guitar a bit (poorly) in H.S. Had not touched a guitar since about 1966 and last October I bought a Seagull acoustic guitar and beenstudying and taking a few lessons. I figure by 2010 rally, I'll be ready to pick and grin a bit.
