Have been every active and thinking of doing a bit more rv'ing. Wondering if anyone has had much luck with operating as a 'virtual office' as they RV full time.

Technically, I'm a part-timer, but I still work as a copywriter when I'm gone. I love the change of scenery, as it helps my creativity flow, and the cell phone MyFi is a godsend, compared to the days of landlines and cat 5 layouts. When I do go full time, I'll still be working this way- if that helps.

My wife does consulting. We are seasonal (winter travelers). Her business can be conducted on line, e-mail, phone---no need to leave "home". Except for court testimony or depositions then the client arranges transportation etc; I converted our stand alone table to a desk table combo of my own design that has made her work environment handy and comfortable. WiFi access is common place enough that she can be connected, we have a combo fax/copier/scanner/photo in the rig. Works out great.

I think private investigators must be licensed in each state of operation, or have a working arrangement with a PI in the other states.
