Just wondering if there are any sprintcar fans on here, or at least dirt track fans?

Big time sprint car fan here. Unfortunately, there's no sprint car racing to be found here in S FL. Once in a while we get to go to to the races when we are traveling. Otherwise, I have to watch on TV. Good thing they usually broadcast the Knoxville Nationals!

oh yea.I am into sprint cars since the 60s Ilived in the Bay Area of Cal went to all the tracks in cal and most on west coast, many of them are gone. I followed sprint, midget and supermods never got into big block mods. Just caught Wow on their spring swing through Ca. They will be back in the fall at CHico

Cool. Glad to know I'm not the only one.

Can't wait in a couple of weeks get to take my son to our first race of the year. There's a 410 special at my old home track 34 Raceway, Burlington, Iowa.

I've never been there, but it's on my list of places I want to go. I heard that place is awesome.

Since the sixties huh? Lucky you! You got to see some of the true legends of the sport back in the hey day. I'm jealous.

love the wingless stuff, especially the USAC "champ dirt". I thought the new car might re-invigorate the class, but it just confused things.

Haven't seen them run since the 88 hoosier hundred though. Moved to CA in 90. They used to run sacramento, and ran del-mar back in 2000. Not a fan of the Phoenix event - the Copperstate - although Supervees and Indy Cars are pretty fun to watch there.

Nothing like Silver Crown on a 1-mile horse track!

would love to have something like a late 70's Silver Crown car to make street legal.
