from the right rear filter cluster under the batteries.the white filter with a pressure gauge on the housing..a very slow constant (when running) leak. Brought it to a local repair shop and after 45 min of wiping/drying/looking/feeling with the engine at fast idle, it was determined that oil was actually OOZING thru the upper housing near where a bolt boss is cast. There is no real crack to see, but the oil just quickly seeps thru the metal! Spartan will ship a replacement part. They are very good to try to save me a 200 mile round trip to their closest dealer, which is NOT a good RV repair site, from what I heard. Any other hydraulic leaks noted???

This is a know quality issue( my dealer had seen several)- the housing is porous. Had mine changed by a Cummins Distributor while in SLC in June. Replacement was fairly easy since they had vice to hold to get large fittings on and off. You will lose all hydraulic oil as there seemed to be no shutoff to filter to limit loss. The oil could have been used from bucket but rather than risk dirt I asked they use all new anti-wear oil. Probably hardest part was getting access to fill hydraulic reservoir.
