2007 Orders Intake High

The pessimists said sales would be way off in 2007 due to new environmental regulation requirements. Spartan says order intake is higher than even last quarter of last year.

"Industry analysts are forecasting an RV industry recovery late in the second quarter of 2007," said Sztykiel. "We seem to be accelerating at a faster pace than the market based on our order intake for motorhome chassis in the first quarter of 2007, which is already higher than the previous quarter and compared to the first quarter of 2006. With our market share gains, we are in a good position to capitalize on this recovery. Spartan Chassis is also addressing the mid- to entry-level market of Class A motorhomes through strategic market presence.

I haven't had a chnace to check but if their stock has gone down in this latest swing - it may be a very good time to buy. Warren Buffet when asked today what he was doiing about the down in market - he said any time anything is being sold for less its a good time to look at buying whether its food, housing or stocks. He made over $16 billion!!! last year on his investments
