Arrow Air leak - Some times??

Some times, after being set up on its jacks, (suspension aired down) when the engine builds air pressure, the rear air bags will fill, and at that point you can hear a air leak and the front air bags will not fill. I have pressed the dump button several times, but it seems to me that the air dump solenoid valve is working as should. I lower the rear jacks, to move the ride height valve a bit, and then the air leak will quit and the front will start to rise. The Coach can sit for weeks, and not loose air out of the suspension(Air bags) and when at ride height, the air dryer is not cycling, so I know there is not a air leak while traveling. Can it be that there is a bad spot in the ride height valve, or dirt maybe? It has been doing this on and off for a couple of months now, but not every time I air it up
I got under it last night, checked every thing out good, inspected the solenoid valve wiring plug, un-hooked the ride height linkage and operated the arm to feel the valve, seemed smooth
Has anyone had this problem? or have any suggestions?

Some valves will do this, And yes it is the height valve. You may want to check your height adjustment to be sure it's where it should be.

I would purchase a replacement valve and be ready to replace it if or when it fails.

You should contact Spartan for an, air system diagram, could be your suspension system uses 2 dump valves. One front & one rear.

Sound like one of those " got to catch it in the act " problems.

See my write up.

palehorse89,
You might also want to check the Air Line between the engine mounted compressor and the Air Dryer. I had pretty much the sane symptoms as you describe and finally found the Air Line from the compressor to the air dryer had a pin hole leak.
Don't know your particular rig, but I could access that line through the floor hatch in the back of the bedroom.

I installed the new ride height valve last night, not to bad of a job........time will tell the story.......I auto-leveled it in the shop, and it aired right up, but I could never get it to fail with a quick level/air up. It always did it after it sat for a bit aired down on its jacks.
On a side note about Spartan, I ordered the part from RV chassis parts(Spartan) The valve on their web site did not look right to me , so I called them, very helpful, and good thing I called, they had the wrong valve listed on line, so the gentleman told me what I needed and said I would have it in 2 days. Great!
Hears the catch, since I called them and the part got ordered over the phone, I got charged regular price of $63.26 +$20.00 shipping
If I had known/told, if he had given me the correct part number and I had ordered it on line I would of paid $46.91 + the shipping, I talked to them several times about their website being wrong and the difference of the part cost, and got no where. Oh well, new one is installed and working............if you need parts, and if you call to get part number help, make sure that you get the correct part numbers and then order them online, it will save you money on your parts!
Thanks again all for your help and posts!
