Air system check valve

Prior to replacing the air dryer cartridge on my 04 DSDP, I followed Spartan's procedure for draining air systems tanks. My system has two air tanks. The primary tank is a split tank housing the supply tank and the primary system tank. It has a check valve that prevents the air from the primary system from draining back if you have a supply side leak or a leak on the secondary side. Spartan is having trouble locating a replacement valve. I tried cleaning and replacing the valve, but it still does not work. Has anyone else had this problem or know of another source other than Spartan?
