I have found 2 gallon jugs of AW Hydraulic Oil ISO 46 at my local Tractor Supply. Is that just a fancy name for AW46 ?
I can find AW46 in 5 gallon buckets ,but would prefer the 2 gallon jugs.

Thanks to this site for the heads up on the filter inside the reservoir. I probably would have never found that filter. It is not listed in any of my manuals.

ISO 46 simply refers to the vicosity. AW stands for "Anti Wear". Your AW Hydraulic Oil ISO 46 is going to be the same thing as AW-46. It's just that the words are rearranged in a different order.

Check page 3 of 6 HERE under the various authorized suppliers of ISO 46 AW hydraulic fluid. Notice that all of these are considered functionally interchangeable by the State of Louisiana since they're carried under one stock number (48-61-3250).

Thanks Cruzer & Rusty your responses are reassuring. I would hate to use the wrong fluid.
