My steering is vey light to the touch (finger soft), but rquires constant vigalence, to maintain course.

Scotty, I have never driven in the situation as you describe and can only speak for my short wheel base Ventana.
My highway driving experience is to maintain a constant speed between 60 - 63 mph and can honestly say that even with 15 - 20 mph cross winds, I can hold the steering wheel with one hand and still feel secure. The RV will maintain a straight line and does not push or pull with the wind. The part that I like the best is when a semi fly's by doing 70, my steering wheel holds true and I don't have to compensate.
From what I've read here on IRV2, the best handling RV's will be a heavy 45 ft. with tag and since I don't have one of those, for me, the CD is a big advantage
If this thread continues with some real benefits to add a Safe-T - Plus type system to CD, I would seriously consider it, but for now, I happy with the Comfort Drive.
