Cost of Year 1 Spartan K2 Maintenance

I'm interested in others' feedback and comparisons.

NIRVC is quoting me $1750 for year 1 maintenance.

Chassis lube
hydr. fluid and filter
torque front and rear suspensions
check and adjust ride height
fluid in all 3 axles

Then another $575 for generator and Oasis heating annual pm

Any comparables?

THANKS

You're wasting your money. I go to a local Freightliner shop for $350 for oil lubes etc and $300 for generator. I often do the generator myself for about $40 for filters and oil.
I dont know why you would need ride height that often.

I had my 1 year service done at Spartan in Charlotte, MI when I attended the Spartan Owners' Class. I paid $1,315.07 for the following:

Chassis Inspection
Lube
Refresh wheel bearing lube (tag)
Rear differential change
Engine oil & filter change
Fuel filters change
Air Filter change
Replace hydraulic filter spin on filter
Generator oil & filter

I ended up having my air filter covered under warranty as it fell apart and they also did my ride height under warranty as it has been previously altered by an authorized Spartan facility and it was a mess.

I had my oasis serviced at Newmar factory for $311.94.

Hope this helps.

Renee

Oh and the breakdown (since you have it separated) as far as generator maintenance cost $82.50 labor and $25.00 parts.

Yes very helpful. It's exactly the kind of comparison I was looking for. It's more similar than I expected, except NIRVC is several $100 higher on the chassis, but it's not orders of magnitude

Thanks for your helpful response
