Delayed Spartan recall notice

I was surprised to receive a recall notice last week for the March recall related to ball joints (Spartan #17004), 7 months is not acceptable for a safety related recall. I never received a timely notice but my Newmar dealer alerted me in March when I was calling on something else.

Anyone else received late Spartan recall notices? Thinking about writing to the company, perhaps it is just me.

I also received a notice late (despite having the work already completed), but also was alerted to the recall via other means. I live quite far from MH service centers equipped for the work, but spartan arranged to get the work done quite conveniently for me at a close by fire truck service center. Kudos to them.

Living in California Spartan send 2 men to the west coast to do warranty work at our house for fan drive. Impressed with the service.

Got ours today and had the work completed 6 month ago, crazy!
