Just purchased a preowned 08 Newmar KS DP. Filters (two fuel and one hydraulic) are very accessible and for the first time considering changing them myself. Besides filing the new filters w/fluid before installing any recommended dos and donts (or a website that lays them out). I understand that the fuel filter system is not pressurized-does the same apply to the hydraulic system. Thanks!

I recently changed my filters. Cummins says to prefill the primary filter but not the secondary. Then prime the system by turning the key on then off for one minute each. Do this five times. I've found that the best way to do it is to prefill them both, then prime, then start.
