I have a 2001 Newmar Dutchstar on a Mountain Master chassis. The front end will leak down overnight. I did find the Pressured Controlled Check Valve(PCCV) housing leaking and tightening the housing stopped the leak but I still have the problem. I have sprayed every single part in the system with soapy water and cannot find anything else leaking. Any suggestions out there?

OK, I am convinced that air leaks are like Hemorrhoids. Everyone has them but nobody talks about them. :-)

Hi Jimwo,
Based on the OP, all I can offer is a shot in the dark. The seal around the bottom of one of the bags may not be seated correctly or just worn out. If the coach rides okay, for me I'd wait until the next shop visit is scheduled.

I had a leak like that and it took months to get bad enough that I could hear it. My problem was the airbrake foot pedal relief valve. I'm assuming you have airbrakes so that "MIGHT" be the problem. here's a picture.
(I hope)

I just can't add anything to the discussion as we were last out in September and my air bags are still fully inflated.

Do you have a step cover inside the coach? The one that would (with a push of a button) cover the step well in front of the passenger seat.
I believe some of those use air from front of coach. If you do, it may be bleeding air off.
I'll just throw that out there as a possibility.

I've never seen that on a Newmar, all that I've seen have been electric motor operated.

My ride height valves were leaking at the fittings. The valve body was just molded plastic and over time leaked around the fitting that was molded in.

Following this thread intently. I've had a '01 DSDP 3858 for about 7 months. The front end started leaking down a couple months ago, although it takes about a week.

I'm watching this thread too as I have the same chassis and the same problem. I've been over every fitting I can find and cannot find a leak. Please post whatever you find and I will too

Had the same problem replaced the rear ride height valve, which controls the front height, don't ask me how but it cured the problem. Called Spartan and was told that was the problem. So far so good ,3 weeks and still holding air,the valve is located in front of the left rear wheel. Good Luck, Jerry

I now have the same problem. I came thru Shreveport, LA, over the last weekend and the pavement on I-20 thru town was so bad that it broke the rear Ride Height mount. Called Good Sam's and they sent out a repairman who replaced the mount and reset the height to spec which fixed that problem. I then continued home to Dallas and parked the RV overnight without 'dumping' the air. When I returned the next day, the rear bags were holding air but the front had lost its air.

This is the first time that has happened to me so I'm thinking that replacing the rear ride height mount is somehow related to the front losing its air.

Any ideas as to what I should do next?

7138,
