Just wondering if I could take my Sparten chassis Newmar to a truck repair place to have the front bearings and races and brakes replaced? Should I order the parts from Sparten, which is what I had to do for the rear, because the local shops kept shipping 5 lug instead parts?

Hi oldcouple,
Any truck shop should be able to replace the front bearings. It is best to take it to an authorized Spartan service center. Some of these are truck service facilities. Go to Spartan Chassis | Everything's Riding On It. or call Spartan at 800-393-8861 to see what local shops qualify.

I have found ordering parts and having a shop install them is a last resort. If the shop is willing to do the work, they should be able to procure the correct parts.
