Fuel tank leak

Anyone ever have a leak (small, but still) from their fuel tank? I have a small leak at the location where one of the tank straps meets the tank toward the top of the tank. Solutions?

I have a fleet of semi trucks. Anytime there's a leak around the strap it's from dirt getting between the tank and strap wearing a hole through the tank or rusting through. Sorry for the bad news if that's what it is!

A fuel leak, regardless of size, should not be ignored. Small leaks turn into big leaks. The potential for a fire is high. I believe you are on a Spartan chassis. Find someone that can inspect the chassis and correct the leak. Spartan can locate a service center near you. Give them a call.

Found it!
Visually, gave that 150 gallon tank a good look. Seemed as all of the stain was at the bottom and bottom sides. Used some degreaser and my pressure washer and cleaned the tank. Let everything dry. Right in the middle òf the bottom appeared as small ďièsel spot. Leaks maybe one drop ever 4 minutes. A tiny dent and pin hole.
I REALLY don't want to drop the tank.
Suggestions?

It's a long shot since you have a drip, but I would clean the area thoroughly and apply JB Weld. That might prevent you having to drop the tank.

I used that 2-part epoxy fuel tank repair on my pickup tank many years ago. It was still sealing the leak(under tank strap on bottom) when I sold the truck ~8 yrs. later.

Just finished driving 3400 miles to Alaska. Knock on wood, it's holding up.
