Unhappy Help with Levelers

'91 SportsCoach CrossCountry on Spartan Chassis. Need some Help. If I shut off the engine and turn the key to acc, then push the "HYD" button this will power the leveling console and wait for second push of "HYD" button this is suppose to start the leveling process. The levelers drop into position, the air bags DO NOT deflate and when the levelers extend the battery light on the leveling console comes on and the voltage on the dash drops below 12v DC and the process terminates. To keep the battery on line the engine must be running. Secondary issue is the levelersdo not stay extended, they are forced back up with the weight of the occupants.

This seems to be a power issue, possible with your batteries. Can you level with RV plugged in to try and keep voltage up?

My Spartan manual says the engine has to be running to use the jacks.

Have a partial solution that seems to be working, at least until I get home in a week. I forced more fluid into the reservoir and now shut down the engine, put the ignition Key in App and then start the process. Its hit and miss but will have to do until I get home in a week.
