Problem, when dumping air bags it takes a full three minuits too expell all the air from the bags, if not totally exhausted jacks will not retract ( store) 1/4 tubes are clear and air dumps fast at first then large delay before air dumps and bags deflate and coach lowers. 3 minuits. has anyone out there had a similar problem and solution. thanks in advance.

No responses, wow! ...maybe because I am confused too.

I dump my air bags when I am preparing to EXTEND my HWH jacks, NOT when I am preparing to STORE the jacks. My air bags DO NOT INFLATE when the jacks are in use.

When I arrive at an RV site, if I hit the dump button the air bags immediately deflate *OR* I hit the Jacks ON button twice and the bags immediately deflate and the jacks deploy ...maybe 2-3 minutes to get leveled.

When I am getting ready to leave the RV park and get back on the road, I hit the STORE button and the jacks start to store, lowering the coach, and the air bags inflate. Again, maybe 2-3 minutes for the jacks to totally retract, the travel light comes on, and I hear the air system purge telling me the air bags are fully inflated.

If that does not make any sense relative to your problem, tell us again what you are experiencing ...and maybe include make and year model of your rig and maybe the model number of the HWH leveling system you have...

Aaa..yah! We're confused also. Ours operate as AFChap described. Question: do you have a Hadley air bag self leveler included as part of your leveling system???

No, mine is not auto leveling the jacks have to be extended either in pairs or individually. The problem lies with the dump button it must be held for three minuits to expell all the air from the bags, if there is any air left in the bags the jacks will not store. gave me fits at first the long delay between the sound of air releasing will lead you to beleive all the has released no so with my coach. I was just wondering if this is normal or a quirk in my system. Thanks for the reply all info helps.

my coach has been at the Valencia camping world for 2 weeks....I tried to get a truck chassis outfit to work on my air bag dump and didn't want to deal with it....went on the hwh site and camping world was listed as a dealer and repair location.......well they have had nothing but a big hassle trying to find out what part is on my coach and how much.......if you can believe it they have been sending pictures back and forth and to this date, after paying for the diagnostic, I have no update on the parts, its been reported to me that it is very difficult to get service at hwh ......I asked the service writer is there no serial number that can be used....they have my factory manual with hwh factory manual and their is no hwh system to figure out the needed parts .....I was told their is 3 possibilities for my coach and they are trying to get the needed parts by emailing pictures......good grief.

If this was all i had fixed I wouldn't say anything but with this same company I had to have all my hydraulic lines replaced for the slides and jacks.......they were all failing at the crimps....the hose had become so rotten and hard it wasn't sealing leaving oil spots all over my driveway ........plus it was shown to me the rams on some slides are starting to leak on a .....2003 RV with only 29,000 miles.....this is nothing but high priced junk.

Your problem, is not uncommon in the rv industry during assembly the coach mfg. supply some of the parts and hwh supplies the balance this unfortunnately can cause part identification problems mostly caused by the coach mfg. because they buy in large quantity from whoever gives the best price sounds like Camp world is doing the only thing possible at this point. As far as hyd. hoses go 8 to 10 years in over the road use and damp climates are about their life limit. I replaced mine at about the 10 year mark with a better quailty hose. hope they get you on the road soon with a minimal expense. flying rver.
