Hydraulic Tank

Well after all these years my Nelson Hydraulic Tank sprung a leak- Rusted through under where it mounts to the frame.Pulled the tank out and I'm searching for a new one before I attempt to repair this one. These things are difficult to find, I have e-mails into American Coach, Spartan and the Nelson Company that originally made this tank back in the 80's and early 90's. My system has been serviced every year since I've owned from 1999.

A welding shop should be able to just weld a new bottom on the tank right over the old if it is in really bad condition.

That's exactly what I did- removed it and took it to a friends shop and He welded a nice stainless patch on it- Changed the filter - added fluid and all done. Oh- when I painted it I used Truck bed liner to seal the tanks exterior.
