ISM Fan Belt Problem

Rather than read 28 pages of posts (which I have read most and have no idea...) - Can anyone advise if Spartan has addressed and corrected the ISM bet problems they were having with the K-2 chassis? I'm considering a new Tiffin Zephyr or Travel Suprems Alant'e which both are on the K-2. Thanks...

It would appear that they have, Ron. The latest fix seems solid, however a few months will confirm it is the right and final fix. Knowing the issues from the start and their correction, I would not hesitate to purchase a new unit with a K-2 Spartan chassis.

Ron, I just posted on the other thread and to date have NOT had any issues with belts on my rig. (4700 miles) It appears this problem might be a Newmar issue only? Can anyone comment further on this?

Bob & Carol, thanks for the information. The two coaches that I am considering are the Tiffin Zephyr and the same coach thath you have, Travel Supreme Alant'e on the Spartan K-2 - Mind if I ask how you are likeing your Alant'e? Thanks... Ron
