We have an appt at Spartan in Charlotte, MI on Tuesday & I realized that I don't know where it is.

Anybody have a street address, where to go when we arrive, where do we check in etc etc etc?

Thanks for your help guys.

The address is 1000 Reynolds Road. This is West of Hwy 69. If you can, exit at Eaton Twp (Hwy 50 --- E Clinton Trail) and go West. When it intersects S Cockran Ave, cross over and it then becomes West Shepherd Street -- go about 7 tenths of a mile and Reynolds is on the left.

The phone number is 517-543-6400.

Just another thought -- if you have a computer on board, go to Yahoo -- select Maps and then put in the address. When the map comes up, select the "hybred" view and you will be able to see the road layout with the street names. There is a great view of the plant from the air via satellite -- you can actually see some MHs parked in the back lot.

As an added question to you --- how do your cats travel? Are they good travelers or not and do you confine them when on the road? We have two cats but, have not traveled with them. We are getting closer and closer to retiring and want to get them used to the coach and the road as we will be taking them with us. Any tips would be appreciated as to how to get them used to traveling -- if that can be done and what did you do to lessen the trama of the "moving floor?"

Mark, The RV parking spots are to the north of the service facility. They are 50 amp equipped with no other services. If you are in need of water there is a tap at the front of the office building housing the service which you could use if off hours. Sewage would be at the fair grounds which, if needed, you can get directions to.

Now, I presume your appointment is for first thing in the morning. Drive your rig down to the front gate at 7:00 AM and go into the building. Chris, the service manager is usually in around 7 and will write you up. There is a lounge there should you wish to wait or you have to wait for Chris to write out someone before you.

Thanks Peter - I was going to go in on Monday night and overnight there. Is that a problem?

David - we do NOT confine the cats, our ears could not take the "Heilman Tabernacle Choir" for however many hours we'd be traveling. One hides under the couch for the entire time the engine is on, 2 alternate on Mom's lap or the dashboard and one is just a bum & sleeps on the couch the whole time.

We did absolutely nothing special with them. Just loaded them into the rig and took off.

Mark

PM me if you want to discuss this in depth.

No that should be no problem. You will note their double spaces are not really wide enough for 2 coaches with slides, so generally everyone just takes two. It never seems to be an issue as there is ample space. There is lots of manauvering room when you arrive so don't worry about disconnecting your toad until you are there. Good luck Mark.

Doc, don't forget to ask them what the security code is for an internet connection while in the waiting room. It's something like 26 characters long...no kidding! Seems some computer tech had a sick sense of humor. But it does work well. And don't forget the Spartan Cafe a block down the road....decent place to go while you're waiting.....breakfast and lunch.

I think you'll be impressed with their level of service.
