I cannot start the diesel engine and need an electrical diagram to troubleshoot. I have done all of the simple things regarding battery, connections and grounds and have not identified the issue. This failure just occurred. The MH is a 1994 Holiday Rambler with Spartan 37 ft chassis with the Cummins 8.3L engine.

A little more information would be helpful. Do you have any power at all, does it turn over?

Yes, I have power to the dashboard, lights, air pressure monitor etc. When I turn the ignition key to start, I don't get any indication that the selonoid receives any power when I touch it with my fingers. I can't measure the voltage at the terminals of the selonoid due limited access. Also, the push button control for the Allison transmission is not lighted if that is related to the problem.

I just called Monaco (HR) and the service tech suggested inspecting the two leads that are connect to the engine battery as they provide power for the transmission. He said both leads have either a fusible link of a fuse and sometimes the connectors have corroded so that the transmission does not receive power and the engine starting selenoid will therefore not start. This was the problem and simply disconnecting the connector and cleaning solved the problem.

Thanks for your assistance.
