After changing the fuse, I have headlights, however, when I put the rig into reverse a fuse blows and no headlights.

That is weird. Your head lamps should be completely independent from your reverse circuits.
1- Does the fuse blow with head lamps off and reverse selected?

My RV dealer said that it was a chassis problem. Spartan sent a wiring diagram to serfvice dept. I did not imagine that it would be so difficult.

Do the backup lights work no matter if the fuse is blown or not?

Ask the service department for the drawings when they have finished with them. I would like to know what they find.

I would also be interested in what fixes the problem. We have the same MH model and year as yours.
We have put 52,000 miles on ours with no problems, so far.

Found out that the main harness near the wiper motor were being rubbed at the wiper transmission. A lot of the wires were being shorted out. Fixed and move away so it would not happen again.

I'm glad you found out what the cause of your problem was and fixed it. I will check my wiring in the morning.

Great! Glad it is fixed and you are up and running. That could have been more serious of a problem or an accident.
Good Day!
