Not sure about this wire

It is a ground series that connects to the parking brake best i can tell. Then goes to the connector and then the other wire goes to a self tapping screw on the frame for another ground...

Can not see within the area where it may go... only issue I am currently having in flaky oil pressure sensor and flaky interior dash lights. But figure the old style pull and twist dial for the interior lights was causing the fluctuations in that...Click image for larger version

With the two wires into one connector I think you are correct

It would be a lot easier to help you, if you would help us. Please put your RV make, model, and year in your signature.

Also a photo from a greater distance might help, hard to distinguish parts.

Are there connections underneath (on the bottom) the silver/black object just above your hand?

1997 coachman destiny 39ft class a
8.3l allison 6 speed
Spartan mm chassis
One end is grounded right behind steering column
Ran to the connector shown
2nd wire from.connector shown goes to what looks to be an electric cylinoid on the valve for the air parking brake pull handle.

If I were to guess that connector is supposed to be grounding another "something" or it is just a factory "modification"

When key is on and parking brake applied, do you have a dash light "Park" on?

Erratic or missing lights and gauges on my Dash has always been due to a very small connector on the back of the dash that gets pulled loose when the dash is hinged up.

Newmar uses white wire for all 12 volt grounds and would bet that is come industry wide.
