Oil Pressure Sensor

I have a 2001 Gulfstream Friendship on a 1999 Spartan Chassis. 5.9L Cummins. The oil pressure gauge is reading extremely high all of the time. I cannot find the oil pressure sensor on the block. According to a schematic, there is a switch AND a sensor. Does anyone know the location of this sensor?

There have been issues with the oil pressure sender, although most report a low or unchanging pressure reading. Here's a drawing:

Thanks for the info. I have the 24 valve engine (not sure that makes a difference or not) . The fuel injection pump is in almost the same spot as were this picture shows a power steering pump. I looked again yesterday and still cannot locate this sensor. very frustrating to say the least. There is still the possibility that it is the gauge...

The first diagram I sent was a 12 v 5.9, probably a Dodge pick up, thus the power steering pump. Here's a 24 v 5.9:

Thanks for all of the help. I finally got to the bottom of this issue. Turns out I do not have the extra sensor. I contacted Spartan and they told me this is an electronic gauge so it gets it's info from a databus unit. The next problem is this gauge is obsolete. I just love having old equipment.
