Hello, we are a US Motorhome Club from Germany. We search for a address in the USA where we can buy Spartan, Oskosh, Freightliner and Cummins Motorhome parts. In Germany we have only two Companies which sells this Parts for a very strong price . Now we want to order directly.
Furthermore we are looking for all information about the parts (numbers ), we will make a partcatalog for the Europe owners . If some one can help us, please post it or email us. We will be very happy !!! Kind regards from Germany !! Olli

Welcome to IRV2 Olli

I've found that Spartan will sell you parts direct. Some are on the website but a quick phone call with your VIN nbr will get them sent to you right away.

With Freightliner I'd suggest a call to their Gaffney, NC facility to see what they recommend. If they won't sell you direct then I'm sure they can recommend a major dealer who can service your parts needs.

Oshkosh is no more, they were bought out by Freightliner if I recall correctly.

Hello and thanks for the very nice reception
I will look in this Forum and will see what we can learn from you.
We look for a partbook or partlist ( brake, filter partnumbers ). If we have this, we can make a centralize buying in the USA. It is cheaper for us ( airfreight is very expensive ). In this time many owners are thinking about sellling their vehicles. Because it's very hard for them to get parts in a short time. If we have more informations about the chassis and their parts, we could help ourself. The second problem is the gas / benzin price. Today we pay for one liter benzin Euro 1.32 = $ 1.78 !
What's about the motorhome life in USA ???
Kind regards,
Olli

Olli This group used to be quite activ when I was a member. You can join there and read the postings and get some ideas on Oshkosh Chassis at least. You can also e-mail some members for more information.
