Power steering pump for Spartan Chassis

The power steering on our 2002 Dutchstar Diesel with a Spartan chassis died. We need a new pump and have been informed by Spartan that they do not have any pumps in stock and they will not be available until October 22. We are scheduled to go on the Polar Bear Caravan on October 2 and do not want to cancel. Does anyone know where we can get a pump ASAP? Casappa PLP20.20-0751\\20267061343 PART# 1441-FF1-001. We are so sad and frustrated.

Try calling Casappa direct? Casappa - Fluid Power Design I assume your pump is for the power steering as well as the Radiator cooling fan?

We called the Casappa in Illinois and they referred us back to Spartan. They could not sell us anything direct. Thanks for the suggestion.

Have you considered taking the pump to a local hydraulic repair shop to see if they might be able to repair it?

Our hydraulic guy looked at it and getting the right parts was a problem. He was also going to see if he could match a different pump with the same specs and see if that could work. It is a long shot but I am not holding my breath. Thanks for your input.

Hi I went through this, only Spartan pumps will work. If you send me your phone # I will call you. I spent hours on the phone with this problem. I can help if you have not got it fixed Don
