Pressure regulator

Looks to be an exhaust port for the HWH. Perhaps that electric solenoid valve is bad.

Thanks
I just can't find where the air line leads to.
I crawled under the coach to see if there was a dangling tube but nothing.
Traced the imput line to the driverside.
The output side past the regulator is where i am baffled.
Maybe if someone has a similar coach they could look at the set up and see where that line goes.
There is a black plastic cover over the regulator with just 2 screws.

I agree with Gassman that it looks like an exhaust port. It just vents to the atmosphere and does not "go" anywhere so you will not find the other end .

So it's supposed to leak air out?
When I shut the engine down I always hear air.
That pressure regulator?
Do you Know at what the pressure should be?
Sal
Thanks for your response.

We have a 04 Essex and before that a London Aire both on Spartan chassis and you shouldn't hear air coming from coach when you shut engine down. Sounds like a major leak and since you can hear it should be easy to find. For smaller leaks a spray bottle with some liquid soap works well to find. You have both in front of coach and the rear air connector to connect a air line from another air compressor to fill air system with air so you don't have to have engine running when check for leaks.

Airconsal.
How many air lines are going into that regulator? Is there line coming in theback we can not see in the picture?
Another question, do know when you get air coming out of that short piece of air line.
I wondering if that regulator is for the tag axle and the air solenoid is the dump valve when in reverse.

There are actually 4 the one in back is plugged. 1 inlet feed 1 outlet feed (left and right) and center which has the pressure gauge. I am from Florida but am in Nashville.
Found a company called Sloan Fluid ac in Nashville. They offered to test the solenoid valve , They tested and said it was operating correctly. So bought a new regulator and put it in. Seams that there is no air coming out. I dialed the regulator and opened it up one turn. no air coming out.i Started up the coach aired it up. I guess ill see if it loses air in the next couple days before i leave for Florida.
the only question I have the pressure gauge reads zero?
As for your question for the tag/dump.
Maybe I'll start it tomorrow and see if air comes out of that tube and the gauge activates.
Thanks for your help.

Do you have air bag suspension? If so it looks like a air pressure regulator for you air bags. The regulator should be adjustable and you should be set at 80/90 psi.

Just re- looked at you pictures, notice gauge only goes to 15 psi, so must not be for air bags, sorry.

Well finally figured out what this hose is for!
After speaking to Newar today we came to the conclusion it goes to the air seal on the entry door?
Evidently it was disconnected and when the regulator failed let air out.
The MH is new to me bought used so I did not have any Idea it had an air seal front door.
Thanks for everyone's imput

That explains the reason for the pressure gage only going to 15 psi.
To you plan to hook it back up?

I will check out and see if all the parts are there.
I received the schematic and parts list and photo's from Newmar today .
I guess i'll look at it and see .
My door really works fine the way it is.
But there must be reason why they put it in in the first place.
