Sky_Boss,

That part sells for $51.20 from Spartan (2013 price).
It is the 8 ft long Steel Braided line between the Compressor and the Air Dryer.
It took me about 2 hours to replace mine.
Glad you got the problem fixed.
Hope your mechanic added some extra chaffing protection in the spot where the line makes the turn to run along the frame rail.

The part was about $84 and shipping was $100. Misc stuff and tax about $75. I'm not a mechanic so I get to pay for their abilities. LOL

FWIW, I found the Transwest Truck-RV shop in Fountain, CO very easy to work with and they were quick to get me in. The tech and shop boss were both informative and quick to provide updates.

The tech was the one that told me that his main mission beyond basic installation was to make sure the route was protected from chaffing. He was the one that said he thought the replacement was a tad longer to make that easier.

All in all, I'm pleased. However, if I was a DIY kinda guy, I certainly would have found the project would have probably been easy enough if I had someone to coach me. Cost for coaching would have been well worth it. LOL
