Spartan Acadamy

I just finished the class and have to say it was better than I thought it would be. I am very mechanical and have done about everything that can be done to a car or pu. I have a CDL so am familiar with air brakes and diesel engines. Didn't think it would be worth the money but did it anyway. I was wrong, learned a lot and got more than what I spent. I would give it 5 stars, 100%. My wife did the driving class (first time behind the wheel) and said it was excellent. We had a lot of fun and made new friends (have spent more and had less fun with no friendships) many other times. Wanted to share my opinion of the class.

So where did you take the class? Cost? Number of hours or days? I live about 60 miles from the factory. I would love such a class. Also have CDL and mechanical knowledge.

The class is held at the factory in Charlotte. 5 days , 8am to 4pm , breakfast and lunch everyday. 50a service with reserved spot. Water and dump nearby.

Not cheep at $1590 for two people but worth it. If you don't need the driving instructors (my wife said it was great) there is a 3 day class I think is about $900 , same class without the driving.

Can't wait! DW and I heading East to Charlotte on Sunday for Next weeks training along with 7 others... Also having the full chassis, engine, and drive train serviced while we are there!

A class put on by Entegra in Middlebury, at their plant for Entegra owners. You come in your coach, they have power hook ups for you while there. Our class consisted of 6 couples, owning coaches that spanned 5 model years, 3 different models and 4 different floor plans. And during the class every topic discussed included specifics for each different coach (Spartan Chasis - half day session, aqua hot, leveling system, electronics, heating, plumbing, etc...). Entegra has put together an outstanding team of presenters from within Entegra and their vendor partners with both customer service and technical backgrounds. The factory tour provides up close observation and understanding of the construction and quality that goes into the Entegra coaches. the lead instructor was PJ, extremely knowledgeable about all Entegra Coaches, well presented and well worth the $$. I highly recommend this fr all Entegra owners. Entegra also conducts a very extensive 1 yer inspection of your coach and fixes anything they find, the all also address any issues you may have as well.

We Just got back home from spending the past week at Spartan for that class and it was fantastic as well! Can you advise when you say they do an inspection of our coach, with ours being 4 years old, I assume that they do not fix anything they find without a price? Also, what is the cost of the class?

Hey Bill, Entegra University cost $850. My coach is only 1 year old, so everything was covered under warranty. I believe that any repairs outside of the warranty have to be paid for. You will get a very thorough inspection and discuss option with your options with your advisor.
